This month was the beginning of our #QKSupport Campaign where we plan to give donations to numerous charities over the coming months in the areas where Q-KANGAROO is available. We want to give back to the communities that have welcomed us over the past year by directly supporting the charitable organisations operating there.
Our first donation took us to Skerries in Dublin where we donated to the Skerries RNLI.
Skerries RNLI has been operating an inshore lifeboat station for almost 40 years. They are at the forefront of maintaining the safety of the public in the waters of the east coast of Ireland. They solely rely on fundraising and donations to maintain this role, which has been greatly impacted over the past year by COVID-19.
We are delighted to support Skerries RNLI and their fantastic work in maintaining the safety of the public in Irish waters on the east coast.
Our second donation took us to Ashbourne in Meath where we donated to Ashbourne Lions Club’s effort in raising funds for Meath Women’s Refuge and Ashbourne Red Cross.
The folks at Ashbourne Lions Club have been raising donations and funds for Meath Women’s Refuge and Ashbourne Red Cross, two very important charities in the area. We were delighted to show our support by offering a monetary donation and hampers containing essential items.
